Back in February I hosted a photographer’s retreat over the weekend in Charlotte, NC. Throughout the weekend we hosted some absolutely gorgeous, inspirational photoshoots. Among my favorite shoots, is the romantic greenhouse wedding shoot at the Vanlandingham Estate in Plaza Midwood. We based the entire shoot off the painting “To Capture Beauty” by Daniel Gerhartz. I love the idea of finding inspiration from outside of the wedding industry rather than just repeating everything we’ve seen previously. We utilized art, flowers and activities to bring the shoot alive and create the most beautiful, romantic moments for the bride and groom. Documentary style photography is so important to me and this was such a joy to photograph!
I hope this photoshoot can bring inspiration to you as you begin planning and designing your own wedding!
One of my favorite designs we did was the orchid veil. It was an absolute stunner. Our amazing florists from Sweet T Flowers actually glued them onto the veil for the day and then held up so well! I am now completely obsessed with floral veils and I hope they become a trend.
Next we chose some Jimmy Choo shoes to really elevate the look of the bride. The bows on the shoes were to die for.
Lastly the table space was a literal dream- all designed and put together by Becca from Wildflower Events.
