After we left the hotel we headed to the Mecklenberg county courthouse via Uber. The wind was so strong that day that we were quite windswept, which made for some beautiful movement photographs. Unfortunately the courthouse doesn't allow photographers so I waited patiently outside while they were inside getting hitched. Once they came back out we walked around downtown for a bit and then went back to the hotel for champagne and cake! They ended our time together by jumping on the bed while laughing! Truly a special day with many beautiful moments.

The Moreira wedding day was an absolute joy. When I spoke to Andrea before they booked she said my photos made her think of "happy memories" and she wanted some for them to have as well. We began planning their elopement afternoon in downtown Charlotte. We began the afternoon at the Grand Bohemian Hotel where they got ready and had their first look. One thing that Andrea stressed to me was how important candid images were to her. She didn't want to spend the afternoon posing for photographs but rather wanted me to document the day as a fly on the wall- which I was happy to oblige.
