Outdoor Engagement Session | The Future Longs

Recently, I got to shoot an amazing outdoor engagement session at the Beacon Heights Trail, NC for the future Longs! Oh my goodness was this an incredible day. The Beacon Heights Trail is a super easy hike, with a phenomenal view at the summit. Located in the Pisgah National Forest, this gorgeous hike is a must-see destination for any outdoor enthusiast. It was the perfect backdrop for the proposal, offering lush foliage, stunning rocky viewpoints, and spectacular views near Grand Father mountain.

I absolutely love a good adventure, and this outdoor engagement session was definitely an adventure to remember. As Andrew walked Grace out to look at the views, I was secretly hiding in the tree line waiting for the magical moment! As he kneeled to propose, I immediately started snapping away with my camera. Grace’s reaction was one of the most precious moments I’ve ever seen. She was shocked and overwhelmed, but so incredibly happy. You could literally feel the joy radiating from her, and Andrew!

Overall, it was such a magical day! After the proposal, we found a couple of beautiful spots to capture some portraits of the newly engaged couple. If you’re looking for an outdoor engagement session spot full of magical beauty, then Beacon Heights Trail is the place to go. I can’t think of a more stunning setting to capture these special moments. I’m so honored that they trusted me to capture this special day, and I hope they cherish the photos for years to come. Congratulations to the future Longs!
